How to use Sigma EF-610 DG Super off-camera

My Sigma EF-610 DG Super flash gun works fine when slotted in to the hot-shoe of my K1 mk 2 but can anyone tell me what kind of cable or gadget I would need to use it off-camera please? The flash does not have any special sockets; just the hot-shoe.

a TTL cord for pentax would work......i think there is the more expensive 5P cord and accessories to cable a flash but i do not have them or familiar

also there are a variety of wireless triggers for TTL.......i am not sure of sigma's capability with cactus v6ii triggers which do support TTL

I own the EF-610 DG Super and operate it off-camera using wireless optical P-TTL and wireless optical simple slave as well as wired P-TTL and manual flash using Pentax 5P cord and shoe adapters. A third-party 5-pole shoe-and-cable adapter may be substituted for the Pentax version at considerable savings (Example at B&H), though not with the built-in flash as part of the setup.

Here is a photo of my K-3 using P-TTL with built-in flash balanced against the Sigma EF-610 DG Super using the Hot Shoe Adapter FG, Cord F5P, and Off-camera Adapter F.

...to take the example photo below...

Addendum:
Here are the components I have except for the Hot Shoe Adapter F in the photo above.

Also available, though sometimes hard to find, are 5-foot and 9.5-foot 5P cords.

Steve

P.S. I found all of my bits and pieces for about 1/2 of regular retail pricing, but it took some effort.

This was going to be my suggestion. I carry one in my bag (with an old AF160Sa) for the odd occasion I want a bit of oblique lighting.

Thank you very much. I have ordered a JJC FC-P3 from an ebay seller for £8.25 which (if it arrives and it works) seems very reasonable compared to £99.99 just for the F5P cable from SRS Microsystems.

That sort of cable is a good solution and great value. As for the genuine Pentax, I was lucky to get all my parts as NOS (new old stock) for less that $100 USD total. The whole bunch would be all the more useful if I actually owned a flash or camera with the 5P fitting.

I own one of those. It is useful but I am thinking that a flat bracket might be a better idea given the height of the Sigma EF610 DG Super.
