Just made the jump to the K1ii

Just made the jump from the K70 to the K1ii
It's been a bit of a challenge learning where and what all the buttons do but so far so good.
One of my future tasks is to transfer my custom User Settings for Astro photography and B&W etc. from the K70 to the K1
Here are a couple shots taken with my film era FA 28-90. No the best lens but one of the few FF lenses I have that fits the bill as a "Walk Around" lens

I carry both the K70 and K1 to every scheduled shoot, but over time I've found myself using the K1 probably 80% of the time. You're really going to appreciate the image differences with FF lenses with both colors and shadow detail improved. TBH I don't even notice the additional weight with the balance being so much better with larger lenses. The added resolution allows for a lot more cropping too. Get out there and just shoot. Everything. The K1 will seem so much more satisfying.

The K70 still has its place in my bag tho so it's not going anywhere before I get another worthy APSC

Congratulations!!!!

It is a decision you will not regret. I strongly recommend the D FA 28-105 lens. It covers most of your needs and is not that expensive. On top of that it give excellent results. When I got my K1 in 2016 I was in a camera store 2,000 miles from home. It was a spur of the moment decision and I was on my way to Yellowstone. I had no real lens in that range that was full frame so I got the D FA 28-105 lens to go with it. I have never regretted the decision to get either the camera or the lens.

I did find that I needed more computing power as the larger files slowed down imaging processing time on my old laptop. No problem there though. My wife talked to my kids and they went in and got me a killer custom built gaming laptop for Christmas a few years later.
