Time left

Hello everyone, hope you are having a good start of summer

Does anyone know of a way (setting, custom firmware, etc.), so the K1 would display amount of time/shots left, if use interval mode, or bulb mode, like a countdown? I have this in my secondary camera, it is really awesome, but for night photography, this secondary camera (Olympus) is just not the right choice (IQ).

This would be such an easy fix, but I'm pretty sure that Pentax will not implement it for a 5 year old camera.

Any help more than welcome, and have a nice day.

It already does this in Interval mode.
Push the INFO button and it will show you how many shots left.

Thanks for your answer. Tried it now, but it doesn't show the numbers. Perhaps there is an additional setting to activate it? Will check the manual later on

Pity...It should have shown your interval settings and number of shots remaining.

That said, there there are numerous reasons to off-load the task of shooting intervals to a wired intervalometer. Mine cost less than $30 USD and I could not be happier.

Check your info display, setings, and your firmware version. It's definitely there and works.

Do you have a screen shot showing this? Remaining shots is definitely there...time remaining, well-hidden if present.

I didn't say the time remaining was there. Shot count is.

The OP specifically wants time remaining, which they were not seeing on the camera display. My suggestion of an external intervalometer. Another suggestion might be to simply set a countdown timer on one's phone.
