How bad is the DA★ 60-250mm F4 when used with the K1?

I did some research in the forums and did not see much discussion about this lens. I know it can be converted to FF, but if it is not converted, how well does it work with the K1?

Is it mainly the vignetting issue? Are there other concerns/issues?

It is mainly the vignetting issue, which can be solved by either removing the baffle or replacing it with a 3D-printed version. There is an extensive test and comparison on this site, performed by B. Dery, of the 65-250 vs the FA 70-210 f4. Look for the lens test of the 70-210 f4 and you will see the comparison both FF and APC.

The conclusion was that the 65-250 was comparable on FF to the 70-210, with minor differences--the FA had somewhat better center sharpness but the 65-250 had more even sharpness across the frame.

Its pretty non scientific, however since removing the baffle the 60-250 is pretty much welded to my K1 its just a great match!

It can be converted to full frame with some amount of butchering, and then after a while you will probably have to send it in to have the auto focus fixed, and then it will be fine until the next time the auto focus needs to be fixed, so you can send it back for repairs, and it will be fine until the next time the auto focus needs to be fixed........
Just buy the DFA70-210 instead. Save yourself the grief of putting up with sudden death motor syndrome.

Conversion isn't really rocket science, and if you take you're time and work secure, it is very easy to do.

When using the squared baffel, it is very important to place it correctly, but in fact, even that is very simple, just lock the tripod foot in the right position.

This was really interesting to look at. It gives the lens an "A" in all categories. I'm tempted to use it, and not convert it to FF (for re-sale value).

I'd convert it and just keep the original baffle. You can put it back if needed, and I think most who would be interested would appreciate/understand the conversion. I pretty much use mine on my K1-II exclusively, and use my PLM on my K3-II.

I have shot thousands of images with the DA 60-250, both on a K3 and then on a K1, having purchased it used. Never an issue of any kind and performed very well! The lens is currently at a reduced price at B&H. Shop through the forum link to help the site. I'd buy this lens again without a second thought.
