I borrowed the K-1 markii j limited model.

Hello, thanks to Pentax Ambassador in Korea, I borrowed and used the K-1 markiij limited model.

When this product was released for the first time, I was half-doubtful about whether it would sell well,
but when I touched the actual product, I realized that it was an attractive camera for Pentax fans.

However, as of now that the k-3 markiii is released, I am looking forward to the performance of the next k-1 markiii,
so I think it will be difficult to purchase it immediately.
In that sense, I will upload detailed photos for those who cannot purchase this product but might be curious.

I hope everyone has a good day!

I'm not typically a fan of custom models - I prefer my cameras and lenses to be plain, black, utilitarian and understated, as a general rule... but I have to say, that looks beautiful. I could perhaps live without quite so much printing on the prism housing and covers, but really that's being picky. Overall, I love it!

Thanks for sharing...

I agree with Mike. That camera is, itself, a work of art! I'm currently learning the intricacies of using my newest Pentax camera, a K-3III. But if Ricoh/Pentax were to come out with an equivalent K-3III version to this K-1 mark iij...

A beautiful model and a powerful camera. The prism housing is indeed a bit too much but the grip is something different.

What a perfect match for the silver Limiteds. I don't know that I'd pay *that* much extra for the J-Limited, but I'd certainly flock to one "less custom" version that had "just" the metallic finish and patterned rubber...

The camera itself is nice, but also these image are really well done. The J-Limited cameras have a real presence when you see them in real life. The images capture that really well. And also it shows how the LX metallic version is designed to be an exact match for the colour of the FA Limited lenses.

I also don't normally go for bling (usability and functionality are most important) but that is one nice looking camera - especially with silver limiteds!
Looking forward to seeing what the next FF camera brings - in addition to some of the K-3 III improvements that is!

I didn't have any expectation of what this would look like, and it is indeed very nice. It's neat that Ricoh produces these custom series.
