Hi, I’ve been browsing a second hand website for a K-1 ii as my entry into Pentax DSLRs
This gentleman is selling his along with some lenses but I couldn’t identify the exact make or model of it.
The picture contradicts product images of the K1-ii

I could use some help identifying this camera.

1. My suggestion would be to contact the seller directly for more information.

2. A list of the lenses here would allow people to provide feedback.

3. K1's come up here on the Marketplace from time to time (added: There's a Mk 1 model for sale right now). As well major stores often have good reseller departments where you get better info and often a guarantee. I don't know who that would be in Europe, but in NA it would be places like BH, etc.

That is a K-1 which has been upgraded to K-1 II spec by an official service agent.

I just realised could this be an upgraded K-1 to a ii?
I read that Pentax offered an upgrade service

Looks like a K-1 but you need to ask him if the internals has been upgraded to a K-1ii hardware. Ricoh provided this service on K-1 mark 1 cameras on request (for a fee) when they started selling the K-1ii camera. This will be indicated by checking the firmware page in the camera. It will tell you if the camera has K-1ii internals and the associated firmware.

That is a K-1 (II upgrade). You can tell because the SR logo on the front has been replaced with a II logo.

The K-1 originally had an SR badge where there is now a II badge in your second image. The badges are changed during the upgrade.
