Those files are original RAWs, not preprocessed in Mono2DNG converter
Ok. I thought that a monochrome raw wouldn't display correctly with normal raw converter, but it does , except that R,G,B demosaicing is applied on monochrome pixels, negating some of the b&w sensor properties. I tried RT "mono" demosaic , on your files, and it works. I exported two jpegs to compare with / without bayer interpolation.

It is almost impossible to see difference on images from K-1 mono with demosaicing and without it if everyday things are shot. The best method to see difference is resolution chart where line pattern is presented.

Some great pix, and some great ideas about monochrome conversion.

I'm a long time fan of black and white. Seeing some of the B+W American movies from the '30's and '40's ...the metering, the lighting and the fine B+W moving pictures...continue to inspire me.

40000 is a bit "to clean"
For static objects you can try Pixel Shift resolution as well just for sake of experiment. This approach has no practical use though because for static objects we can use tripod and ISO 100.

Pixelshift on static objects gives you better quality than non-pixelshift photos.

Basically, the improvement from single-shot to pixel shift is the same resolution improvement from a regular K-3 III to a K-3 III Monochrome.

...as long as nothing is moving.

The monochrome doesn't care, and as a bonus will have better high ISO performance if you need it.

Even if some do, I would not have a monochrome camera as my only one, and I don't. But now that I've tasted the fruit I'm fairly sure I always will have one.

I meant that PSR on monochrome camera does not increase details but at high ISO still improves noise characteristics of picture

Fisheye always produces 'different' images. Looks interesting
