I don't like these "Why I will not buy a" threads, because search algorithms and unsuspecting newbies might misunderstand it. You see a thread with 200 pages of reasons to NOT buy a camera, and you run away. Even if 99.9% of the posts are sarcastic, joking, and so on. Nobody reads a whole big thread anyway.

Not really. Between me and my father we have a K-3, K-5 and K-x. Boat needs a motor...

#1 - Don't need it.

#2 - I only have 1 FF lens, a 50mm 1.4 M

#3 - I do have 6 DA lenses, and a spare K-5IIs if I need APS-c at 15 mp's

#4 - It will be $1200 by the 2016 Holidays.

#5 - I'd have to buy lenses for it anyway, might as well go Canon or Nikon then I have better AF, better lens system selection and better flash.

#6 - Pixel Shift and Astro Tracer are nice, competitive AF and flash is nicer.

#7 - A canon 6D is $1095, a 5D Mark III can be had for $1899. (See point #5)

Sorry, this thread's not really a joke. Wish it was... (See point #4.)

These market trends are moving WAY faster than the decimals in my bank account!
