That surely shows how wrong dpreview was especially in the AF department.
Not quite. Imaging Resource didn't replicate the DPReview tests exactly.

Please. Being a hack is one thing and has about nothing to do with her being a woman. Lets keep the complaints on topic and not resort to ad homs (especially since there is a lot of (lack of) substance to complain about). Keeps the environment more friendly all around and we can still bash idiocy.
Fair enough. (although I didn't say anything about her being a woman, men have personal demons too) It just seemed a strange way to begin a review of a very serious piece of technology. To me, it said more about herself than it did about the camera. And yes, there is plenty of idiocy contained therein.

No problem, I may also be a bit too sensitive on these things. I guess I interpreted the tone a bit wrong, happens on text based forums you know.

I've just seen too many internet spats that escalate too quickly on the personal and then (almost) everyone gets nasty (e.g. DPR but let's not go there _at all_).

I go to DPR when I feel brave (or stoopid)

I wanted to see how the Nikon D5 fared in the gold standard AF test, but I couldn't see it in their review.

They did it for the D500 which has AF points all over the frame. Don't ask them on dpreview thoug. it will get you banned.

No cyclist test for the Canon 1D either over at DPR...

So the test is good enough to fault the K-1's AFC, but not good enough to apply to all other DSLRs.

Wonder if it will be resurrected for the K-70 review?

The most surprising thing to me is how un-scientific the bike test is. If it is a new test to be applied to all new interchangeable lens cameras, it needs to be a lab test. The whole "guy on a bike outside" thing does not control for positioning (of neither camera nor subject), lighting, nor speed. It's a complete and utter joke compared to their lab tests.

I liked this quote from the review "Then there’s the color replication. It is so colorful and vibrant that it reminds me of the Nikon D810 sensor but with lower noise."
