With the mandatory "not as small as a mirrorless". Now put an equivalent lens on, how much smaller is it then (ff of course)?

Positive review, but Russian reviews are always arrogant
Like the way they ran their Romanov and Soviet empires?

The high-res sensor allows the K-1 to capture more detail than the Nikon D810 and almost every Canon DSLR (except the Canon EOS 5DS), it also reaches a much higher level of sensitivity, going as far as ISO 204,800.
Cool, but... based on?!

If its the same sensor, the Pentax will capture more detail due to not having an AA filter, and far more detail by using pixel shift resolution.

D810 has no AA filter (neither does the A7R) ... so if you want 36MP with more detail, the K-1 pixel shift feature will be the means to do that.

Skin tones and colors are fantastic - did you edit these? any work at all or simply straight from camera?

Which 30mm did you use for shot of your model title :
'30 mm, 1/250 sec, f / 2.8, ISO 200•Pełna rozdzielczość'

it's sharp, beautifully saturated with a lovely out of focus. I'm guessing its the 15-30 2.8??

Absolutely gorgeous.

Thanks very much for sharing that, Class A.
As I will not get the opportunity of handling one of these exciting cameras I found that the way you handled the camera gave me a valuable impression of its "in hand" heft and size. I am being sorely tempted by this beaut!

No worries.

It is strange how satisfying these unboxing videos can be, isn't it?

It isn't me handling the camera. It is someone from ephotozine and note that he got a camera specifically targeted at press people. I reckon regular boxes will look very similar, but won't have the battery installed already.

Same here, same here!

I thought I'd could restrain myself for a bit, but the temptation is rising.
