Interesting that apparently so many do not like the looks of the K-1. Personally, I find it to be one the best looking DSLRs ever, with a rugged, tough, masculine appearance. But ultimately it wouldn't matter if I found it terribly ugly - image quality and value are what matter most to me.

I do find his review quite fair and his voice tone is also easy to listen to. I also don't find his comment on the ugliness of the k-1 to be offending, just a personal preference IMHO. Although the k-1 with the bigger hump and a little more chunkier than the k-3/II, it does look a little more masculine and tougher, but it is still quite nice IMHO. OTOH, I find the similar Canikon models (D810, 5DMKII etc.) resemble more like short-neck with sagging shoulders (mode dial slanting down) - that again, just a personal perception, but I wouldn't call 'ugly' either, just different. The thing that I notice is that Canikon DSLR models all look very similar, Pentax looks quite different.
