thank you BruceBanner , it's not me you mentioning i have not the Da 55-300 , this peacock was taken with the Da*300 f4
Just weird timing, I just checked the fb post again and it's a greener peahen/cock type thing than yours but the colour of the shot, focal length all have the same feel hehe.

Some excellent captures mate. I've spent a lot of time out Windorah way and places further west. One of the best places to go for Milky Way shots out that way so hopefully you got to do a bit of that too.

They were also amazed at some of Frederic's photos. Told them he does pretty good but he likes to shoot the moon...
You have pretty good friends then

Eric, you are good... it is the 645 A 120/4.
I was sure it was a 645 lens. I must say that I prefer my FA 645 150mm F2.8 with A extension tubes.

Thanks! I don't do a lot of night photography, and I didn't at Windorah unfortunately.
I did at Rainbow Beach though, excellent spot as well (I think I already posted that picture, if so sorry for the double post!):

You'll notice that the upper left corner is pretty bad with my FA* 24mm :/

A few others:

1. Windorah Red Sandhills at sunset:

2. Baldy Top Lookout:

3. Carnarvon Gorge National Park, Main track:

K-1 • DA55-300PLM • thinking about AFC • worth an upgrade to K-1 II? • until now I'm really not an AFC shooter, never used - until now • maybe new opportnities? • I like to experiment • flying insects like little fast birds are hard to catch • some K-1 AFC close-up shots ...
