You read all sort of things around PF....and other places. I read the K1 Jpegs are horrible. Where does this trash talk come from? Like most, I seldom use a Jpeg...shoot Raw+...but there is nothing wrong with the Jpegs. When you see these people, note that you should step back quickly and run like hell, they are not playing with a full deck!

ISO 5000 Jpeg....Anyone want to tell this little guys mama that he looks horrible? I sure don't! Squirrels claw and bite!

Regards!

I shot weddings last weekend within K-1 and K-5, didn't actually use K-5 that much (K-1 900 photos and with K-5 only 200) and I'm very impressed of K-1, it's beyond words! Some photos, taken with DA*55 and DA* 60-250/4. Usually I've been editing wedding photos way too long - somehow didn't need do to it this time, the files from K-1 are very good already without PP.

Very nice images. Especially I like how you used the feel of Finnish summer to create nice surrounding into images.

Machine that does what I ask

This camera doesn't cease to amaze me with the latitude it opens (aka margin of screwup ) . This is photo taken shooting directly into the sun (DFA 28-105). I think I am ready to put film to rest.

The usual "new camera" weather: grey clouds...

This is with the Pentax 28/3.5 shift. It works a lot better on the K-1 then on the Sony A7r.
This is in the blue hour a new gymnasium school building.

I used pixelshift but don't have installed the Pentax software yet. My new laptop is so advanced it doesn't have a cd player.
I am going to have look if I can download it from Pentax.

The moiré has to do with internet downsampling.

Bit of a dramatic storm yesterday, but the forecasters overestimated its effect.
Here's the trailing end of it with F 17-28 Fisheye @ 28mm.

Nice shot! I think my K1 adds two hours extra shooting time to the days....early morning and late evening. The ISO and SR are wonderful together!

I'm not sure the "new will ever wear off" of this camera for me! That's how I felt about my K5IIs....Pentax is making great cameras!

Regards!
