Excellent!

Reminds me of our summer cottage by the lake when I was a kid SO many years ago. Just curious, but how close were you to the corner of the porch? ;-)

Thanks Rick! It kinda had that familiar vibe for me too. I had to go back and look at the original, because I took a few. Turns out I was back about 20ft and had cropped it a bit in post. Not because of unwanted distortions or anything like that, but to get rid of some distracting foreground stuff that wasn't period correct and ruined the mood, heh.

THESE ARE NOT K1 IMAGES, but I thought I'd post them following the images above of a fine pre-war car. Some very elegant designs were made back then, but small differences can change the appearance of a vehicle. These are two versions of the 1937 MG model SA. IMHO the open touring body, with red fenders and black hood looks far more handsome than the closed Saloon version with black fenders and beige central body work, even though front end treatment, hood, and graceful fender line are the same. And I like the mosquito hood ornament better than the Pegasus.

I'm one year younger than my heckflosse car. Sorry that I can't post a photo here, as I don't own a Pentax K1 ;-)

Tas, Had a good laugh when I looked on flickr at that pier shot, it certainly does look like Alfred...
CuriousEye, very nice image captured with the macro.
ZeGaby, definitely appears dreamy, sure like that first shot.
Erictator, super composition with the cabin shot, even if it is slightly out of focus...
Frederic, awesome shot of the canal with the yellow lights, thought for sure it was a Topaz effect photo.
Kerrowdown, two really sweet photos you took there, love the Fine Lady one.
Best Regards, Bob

Varied Thrush. I didn't realize it was iso 6400 until processing. The second is iso 2500. The higher shutter speed on the first shot, even at high iso, is sharper.

I hadn't noticed that, well spotted mate.

Another K-1 pano, this time it's 8 images captured with the Zeiss Makro Planar 2/50.
