Yes it does seem that way! How are you liking the files? Any noticeable differences?
Nothing obvious yet. Not sure how LR6 deals with the files yet either, other than this quick session. I shot these as DNGs thinking the embedded profile would help LR sort things but I haven't really taken a close look or done comparisons.

Thanks Ivan. I bought a new K-1 ii, not just because it's the new model, but my original K-1 has some quirks that I think are from the time I dropped and broke it when it was new. I got it repaired then but a couple of nagging issues made me want to get a new body. I'll probably unload the old one as-is to hopefully recoup some of my costs and make it someone else's project.
If I had a Z I'd probably hold off but the K-1 has been a good income generator with portraits and real estate so I feel like it's a niche I need to keep filled in my lineup. The old one was ok but I had to edit out a persistent sensor spot on many shots and I was getting tired of it.
I'd like to get out for some Milky Way shots soon to really push it and see how that high ISO performance looks. I'm also shooting a big bike race next month and hope the AF and general responsiveness is a little better than the original K-1 which struggled in some bike race situations.
