Beautiful shots, everyone! You folks have some very cute pooches! And I always look forward to Vincent's lovely morning shots at the lake. And of course, Rupert's cute critters are a joy.

K-amps, I'm so impressed with your photos. The milky way one is spectacular!

Here are a few random shots I took yesterday. All in FF mode - I have not even tried crop mode yet. I've been sticking with FF lenses. The first two were taken with the D FA 50mm macro. I discovered you can use catch in focus with this lens by activating the focus clamp. This makes me very happy! The last two were taken with the Helios 44k-4 58mm lens at f/2.

Okay it´s time again for some of my shots

Last weekend I finally had the chance to try the K1 at a larger festival - Rockavaria in Munich. Here are some of my shots with the K1 + DA* 60-250 from Powerwolf and Nightwish. Did pp on all of them in Lightroom.

I have to admit, I´m ing impressed with the 36MP of the K1, I really have to get used to it and its crop possibilities. Focus with the 60-250 was not super fast, yet way more reliable then on my K5 when less light was avaiable! I really like the combo, but still the shiny new 70-200 is kinda flirting with me Well maybe santa will carry one for me with him



PS: I was shocked non of the other ~70 photographers used Pentax

Using the WIFI mode is handy and convenient for selfie shots, you can use the LiveView to pose some studio pose which usually needs guidance from the photographer, however every shot taken will capture the instance you holding the mobile phone to snapshot, how I wish Ricoh can include a 3sec delay in the next version of Image Sync....
This shot was taken with DAL 55-300 to exclude the lower half body so as not to capture me holding the mobile phone.

Those are mighty fine shots you posted. If you ever take up Squirrel Shooting you will be a Pro instantly!

Heading out west to Oregon...plan on taking a ton of gorgeous and stunning pictures, maybe even a squirrel or two along the way?

You guys don't hold your breath for those "stunning pictures".......

I do plan on having K1 fun...it is a damn fun camera, so glad I have it for this trip!

Ken, that is a fantastic use for Image Sync. I have not played with that app much yet. I am surprised the 3 sec delay isn't included. Maybe in an update... Very nice selfie!
