Pretty sure this is the thread for those who go out and make pictures. Be kinda nice for the DPR hate to not spill into all corners of my forum experience.

Wow, many great photos posted by folks. It really is enjoyable to view images on this forum.
First shot taken with the 24-70 lens, others taken with the old 645 120/4 macro.
Best Regards, Bob

Small common local chameleon peeking out of pipe. I kept inching closer, this is as close as I got before he bolted.

This is where I started from. These guys are very tiny... maybe 3 or 4 inches long on average.

I call this one Random sensory art.

This was shot with a K-1 Mark II, Rokinon 800mm mirror lens, fixed f8 aperture, 1/8000, ISO 819,200, in FF mode . This is meant to be my collection of Pentax lenses, all black, on my grand piano cover, which is also black. There was plenty of light in the room. Lens was focused very roughly using marks, because the image in the viewfinder was completely black. Not that it would have mattered !

This resulted in a 69MB PEF . Compressed at 100:1 with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling to generate a JPEG <3MB that would fit within the forum's maximum file limit for JPEG. The first JPEG rendering I tried was 141MB.

I created it only for the losers at DP Review who are complaining about the overdone noise reduction on this beautiful camera. They don't understand anything. I for one am looking to the next-gen super image HD accelerator.

Gold Finch & Indigo Bunting

Eric, thank you, I also favor the last 2. Excellent bee shots you got there & sharp dragon shot.
Frederic, thank you. The close up red shot surprised me, when ever I manage to nail the focus the lens renders great.
Best Regards, Bob
