K-1 with the Zeiss Distagon T* 2/35 ZK again @ f8 capturing the enthralled family at a local 'gathering of the clans'. I suspect that's the Kerrowdown who slipped into left of frame in the pork pie hat.

Garden views from northern Ohio

I do not use the 31mm limited as often as I should, but always like the results even when it is not the lens best suited to a particular task. Actually, I became accustomed to the crop sensor FOV on K-3, and only gradually feeling comfortable with its wider angle aspect on the K-1.

Just got a c/y zeiss 15/3.5 and it has this problem of shade coming into shot on the pentax, because the lens has to be correctly positioned, and also not quite hitting infinity yet. Still up close get very nice result; 6" focus. The daisy is very sharp at 100%.

Why we cannot assign stars in ranking here?

5/5 stars for the third picture! With accolades to photographer. I'm curious - one shot or one from series?

Cheers!

Magnolia, Pixel Shift w/Tripod.

The Tripod, a new Sirui ET2204 Carbon w/K-20 ball head, is a recent anniversary gift from my amazing wife. (I knew I married her for all the right reasons! LOL )

This Sirui is not a USA model, had to come all the way from the orient on a slow boat. I sent her the email link as a hint and a bit of a joke, and I couldn't believe she got it!
Really like this tripod, and the ball head!

There are many, many great images in this thread, but this set is stunning.
I'm not sure I've ever had a nicer compliment, and not sure I deserve it, but THANK YOU!
You made my day.

Eric, superb shots, those ants looked like they were on my monitor screen, almost a 3d photo. And the last shot is simply fantastic, great detail on the bug & the flowers appear to be painted, really fine work mister tatorman.
Best Regards, Bob
Thank you so much Bobby for taking the time to say so.I know how busy you are this time of year.

I've been putting a little more effort lately to not just take snaps, and engage the noggin before the shutter. Doesn't always work, but I'm tryin'!

Thanks again!
Eric
