Ran circles around the car with a Pixel Stick, light painting it. Merged it with a previous shot (same frame, same place) of the Galactic core

That's funny !

Brought a combo of FA24 and Tamron 28-75 for a trip to Hainan island. Think it is a good combi for travel.

The big building in the first picture looks like the HQ of a marital aid Co., both male and female.

I didn't get what I wanted because I don't have a clue where the Milky Way is, but here's some 20 and 30 second shots taken between 12 and 24mm and 4.5 to 5.6 aperture, all at ISO 3200, which tells me what I need to do when I try again. It was the first time I used my new Sigma 12-24. Sucks that there is enough distortion to keep me from stacking images. I could have cut the noise and gotten more stars.

Cannot put my finger upon or verbalize it. The colors seem "deeper" or "richer." Perhaps there's a difference in which colors the sensor emphasizes, as, for example, Kodachrome had wonderful blues, and Velvia made warm colors pop in soft, dim light, but tended to look carnival-like in full bright sun. In looking at K1 images posted here, I find myself thinking "wow, look at that color, it's wonderful" more often than with images taken by any of the APS-C bodies. Maybe it's psychological, but I don't think so. Look above at the graffiti posted by sculptormic. There are many similar images on the "street art" thread, but when I came to that post, again, I was struck by the quality of the colors.
Just tossing this out there (keep in mind I'm just speculating and talking out of my @$$ here). It seems to me that the reds clip with K-1 a bit easier than with K-5 or K-7 (and yes, I always shoot raw, so it's not the color settings of the camera). Also, the Shutterbug review mentioned something that K-1 works pretty well with infrared filters? Could there be a connection to the "color profile" of the K-1? Of course the specifics of the beyer filter implementation, which we are not privy to, come into play also.
