Nice shot. Tried loading Sequator on my laptop and Norton definitely did not approve and deleted it when I tried to open it. I need to look into this a bit further.
Yeah, windows was panicking too for some reason. I just ran it anyway, had no issues so far. My Webroot antivirus didn't detect any issues with it.

Forgive my recent absence, as well as this x-post from 150-450mm thread.

As I have said there, I am not much of a birder but sometimes you have something on your doorstep that you can't resist trying to capture.

So, here's a trio showing a local baby Tawny Owl's first trip out of the nest, all taken with K-1 at 450mm with some cropping. Very dark (in fact, I generally couldn't see the bird with my own eyes and had to use liveview and careful pre-focusing before the light faded). I have relied on long exposure and some HDR/processing to balance the dark areas with the sky visible through the trees.

The parents did not spend the day inside the nest hole and sat nearby from dusk calling to tempt the little one out, before starting to hunt and feed. Awesome birds!

Wonderful pictures. Reminds me of the 'atmosphere' of the English TV detective show..'.Midsomer Murders'...but only the first edition with John Nettles. The pics have a quality of mystery and foreboding .

Thanks, makes sense,
Did you light-paint the lighthouse, was it flash at the beginning/end of the exposure or a different one altogether?

That is a sweet ride in the curl! I kept looking for the giant dino-crock shadow in the wave. Hah! But seriously, I like what I've been seeing from the Dfa150-450, and you use it well.

I was particularly blessed this rainy dismal day... after a hike in the marsh to one of my favorite spots on the bay, the sun sorta poked out a little and I was greeted by not only a friendly fowl,

...but also a rare chance to capture some playful wild manatee feeding on some grass flats!

Not sure how to say this... but I don't know how far gone I'd have to be to mistake one of these for a mermaid!
Oh, they are cute, in a way that stuffed teddy bears are, but hot chick/mermaid?

Got a few more of these in the queue... I didn't spare the digital film, heh.

K-1 & DFA 28-105. Wasn't quite a new moon (moon at few percents), but the sky was very clear, so I had to grab my camera)
