Took out the DA* 50-135 with Kenko 1.4X DG Teleconverter for an evening trial.







Figures, I spot my first Barred Owl when I've only got an 189mm lens on, but this heavy crop shows the combo can still pick out lots of detail.





You see it in the opening squirrel photo too, but the TC adds something special to the already-special bokeh out of the 50-135. I'm stoked about this development.



Finally we have a photo of a brute. He chased away 3 adorable chipmunks.

Fun in the vetch patch. K-1 + HD 1.4 TC in crop mode, TAv, DA*300, 1/500s, f/6.7, ISO280. No additional crop in post.

Interesting. Have you tried the skin tones #1 and #2 ? Looks like the camera is processing the raw files, also I couldn't really tell the difference (I need to get some subject with good looking skin :-) )
