My son lost his shades somewhere on the beach, so I offered to go back and have a look for them, found them exactly like this, they were screaming for a selfie shot (and I couldn't resist)!

Finally got the D-FA 24-70 this evening, a quick test shot...

Ken,

I was in Singapore at the beginning of the month and took the K1 with me because of the terrific job you do shooting the city.

My shots weren't even close.

You do good work.

I hope to have another go in the future. From the little I got too see, it's an interesting town.

Bowfiddle Rock on the North Scottish coast, I waited patiently as the tide came in for the late evening light to strike the rock, whilst all along taking exposures of the wave movements. I then chose my favourite foreground shot to combine with the shot of the light illuminating the rock.

Stunning !!!

Thanks Dave, and did you mean hills views? Yeah I'm a bit inland, but still commutable to the coast for a day trip if need be. I live in the Blue Mountains so am blessed with valleys, cliff faces and waterfalls as well as bush and rainforest like walks.

Jervis Bay was a 3hr drive, so we stayed two nights down there, a catch up with some friends who have recently relocated there.
