Still I’m exploring KP so K-1 has a hard time to get into my hands. Today I did a comparison of my "garden setups" that some people could be interested in.
So here are some gear pics honoring these and my two Pentax M-Series lenses.
K-1 • DFA28-105WR
For people interested in a high quality lightweight and thin L-Bracket and/or panorama plate I can recommend the Novoflex QPL SLIM VERTICAL and panorama plate QPL SLIM 200. The SLIM L-Backet attached to KP even fit together into my compact camera hip bag. No way with standard L-Bracket attached to K-1. In addition you can see my adapter cable 2.5mm to 3.5mm to connect my standard cable release that I use with the other Pentax cameras.
To make the story complete the image taken with the photographed setup:
KP • M28
A comparison of K-1 and KP setup with their „normal“ field of view manual lenses K-1 and M1.7/50 vs. KP and M2.8/28 - sorry I only own one of both cameras so picture made with the K-5 …
K-5 • DFA28-105WR
There’s a huge hype about the new DFA1.4/50 and its bokeh - but nearly 1 kg?! An image using M1.7/50, 185g, with open aperture and not so bad bokeh ...
K-1 • FF mode • M1.7/50 • ISO100 • f1.7 • 1/640s K-1 • APSC mode • M1.7/50 • ISO100 • f2.8 (estimated) • 1/1000s
Although DA*11-18 is delayed until next year I have enough gear to play with.
