Man, I envy your back yard Adrian! Nice shots. I have friends with similar looking (not quite the same color layout) colorful Eclectus parrots kept as pets, but I think they are larger than those little guys. Amazing colors.

About the only colorful native thing here are the spoonbills, occasional flamingos... oh, we have lot's of wild conures and quakers, but I think those are pets people turned loose and have bred... and if you ever heard a conure, you'd know why people become less enthused about them and turn them loose! LOUD and not just at sunrise and sunset, cover on cage or not! We had a huge wild population of budgies when I first moved here, but I think a hard winter took them out, or the return of the predator bird population (Osprey & Eagles) which have made a huge comeback, had them for a snack. Maybe a combo of both.

Congrats on the new Mk II ! You are off to a nice start, looking forward to more from you.
Was wondering how much you had to crop with a 105mm...? I usually shoot our kite boarder's with my 300mm or 400mm, and I still have to crop.
Eric
Actually, the lens was at 63mm at the time, so I had to crop a lot. (I was there just to test AF.C).

Timur, Beautiful shot. Well done.

I have not been up that way in some time. Maybe it is time to check out the east side of the state again. That is a beautiful area.

Nice, they should have moved their car imo (after all the effort went in to declutter). I like the post processing, not too much, just nicer tones and better clarity in clouds and details in the house etc.
Aye but perhaps it were their pride and joy choice of automotive product.

Thanks Mike! I usually shoot that old Takumar wide open to get the crazy bokeh, but stopped down just a little, it starts to act like a Limited.
