It will not. The K1 is the first Pentax branded DSLR successor to top of the line Pentax film cameras that is totally worthy of the name. It stands tall and proud of it's heritage.

I was considering (to acquire) that very same lens this week, more for the KP than the K-1, but chickened out and instead grabbed a HD DA 35mm/2.8 Macro.
But how do you like the Sigma Art 18-35? Have you been happy with it? Focus ok?

A fantastically cheap lens. Super sharp. Excellent focus. Can be used fullframe from 26-28mm.

It took a while to find a F 28mm in my neighbourhood once I decided I had to have one again. Such a gem on K-1.

Hi Frederic

Another nice set
The Irix landscapes are rather nice

Dave

The Sigma 18 - 35 is a "cheap lens " not in our neck of the woods

I hope you are not going to kill me for adding a pic of mine. I just think you may be interested.
Every time I look at some of your landscape photographs I get the feeling it could have been shot in outback Australia.

Cheers

I don't want to beat a dead camper-trailer, but I did get the correct site for Patriot Campers. My laptop only pulled up their big circular logo and images of their products, no text. On a simple level, assuming I did have the correct site, they call themselves "Patriot Campers" not "Patriot Caravans."

In our usage a 'camper' is 'a person who camps.'

A towed thing to stay in is a caravan.

A self-propelled vehicle with accommodation is a 'camper van', as in a van for campers, see above usage of camper.

Fascinating! But the soil there is much deeper red. There are places in the USA that have soil with color akin to that, but generally not in the desert southwest SFAIK. One place that pops into mind is Hawaii, especially Kauai, where they make the somewhat famous "dirty T-shirts."

Very nice indeed. Really like the mood.

It might actually be easier to make a list of bad Pentax F primes than good ones... the bad list would be much much shorter.
