The jetty head of the Woody Point Pier at dawn captured with the D-FA 150-450 @ 450mm.

Note the photographers out on the jetty where I'd planned to set up for the lunar eclipse (but decided it was too busy so drove up the road a bit where this image was captured from).

Yes ! The DA 70mm F2.4... If you remove the lens hood, it's nearly as compact as the DA 40mm F2.8

55mm f1.4 DA* at f1.6

Edit: Oops, I just realized it says "K-1" photos not K-3. Oh well...

There was also a Zeiss 85 f1.4 manual focus "A" lens that will mount on the K1. All of those lenses are large and heavy. The 77 f1.8 is scarcely bigger that the FA 50 1.4. The 70 DA 2.4 is also an option, as I believe it covers the full frame sensor. On the crop sensor Pentax cameras the 50 f1.4 does a nice job as a short focal length, high speed portrait lens, I used it a lot on the K3.
