Helios 44-2 (Zebra) It's a step less aperture but I do know I shot it somewhere between f2 and f2.8.

I must thank @medex for introducing me to the wonders of using HSS flash in AV mode.

First photo is at ISO 125, f/8, 1/50s with Sigma 24-60mm @ 24mm. Second photo at ISO 100, f/1.4, 1/3200s with DA* 55 f/1.4. Perfect exposure on both them, even though the first is not a HSS shot, and it's so easy, my subject does not get bored waiting.

Maybe one day you can show me! I have a flash I really should play with more often.

The band Ghost played before Iron Maiden yesterday. As often, i love to test flair and lights. I did the same here..But the K-1 and the new lenses handle flair so well. K-1 with 24-70mm F/2.8 @ 38mm, ISO1600, F/2.8 and 1/200

First posted shots with my brand new D-FA 28-105 that arrived yesterday. High ISo perfromance of the K-1 is great (second shot at ISO 3200, no noise reduction).

Serious vignetting for a legacy FA. Did you have the hood on? Post some other samples, if you please.

Cannot put my finger upon or verbalize it. The colors seem "deeper" or "richer." Perhaps there's a difference in which colors the sensor emphasizes, as, for example, Kodachrome had wonderful blues, and Velvia made warm colors pop in soft, dim light, but tended to look carnival-like in full bright sun. In looking at K1 images posted here, I find myself thinking "wow, look at that color, it's wonderful" more often than with images taken by any of the APS-C bodies. Maybe it's psychological, but I don't think so. Look above at the graffiti posted by sculptormic. There are many similar images on the "street art" thread, but when I came to that post, again, I was struck by the quality of the colors.
I'm finding these wonderful K-1 images to be the least "digital" images I've seen from a DSLR. Granted, I don't look at Nikon D800/810 galleries or even 645Z images, either. They have a rare combination of sharpness and depth and the smoothness of color (which really enhances the depth) is something you just don't see with other cameras. It's almost as if the camera turns most lenses into an FA 77 shooting K25 film. Also, the inherent resolution of the sensor trumps any need for extra sharpening which keeps the images from becoming two-dimensional.
