"Heavy" Competitor And Official

Now you know where they got the idea for Rosa Klebb's spiked shoes... "Heavy" competitors have always worn them for extra grip.

A sponsors shirt, maybe for lift or more likely for celebrating with later.

Hi Topsy

Will look nice when finished
Now if it was a bike you would get a flood of ideas on what would be the "best" options available....
Even including that lycra stuff

Dave
Don't worry Dave, I've got a bicycle standing in the kitchen and plenty of others in the cellar.

Nice starter kit for a resto. Looks like a vintage twin port, 4 stroke single...250cc-350-500cc, British ? I have two bikes that are undergoing restoration. One a '78 Yamaha 500cc single..4 stroke (SR 500), the other a '67 Matchless 750 twin cylinder Scrambler. It's a G15CS...Matchless frame, Norton front forks, Norton 750cc Atlas...twin carb engine.

I like the photograph and where your motorcycle 'lives'. When I was in my 20's, I used to store one of my motorcycles under the chandelier in the dining room, but then I got married and my wife insisted on making me into the 'civilized man' that I am now. First thing after we got married was making a shed for the bike's new home.
Well spotted, it's a 500cc single, 4 stroke, 4 valves. You're right with British too, it's a Rudge Special from '37.

Heh nice! That Matchless sounds very interesting!

Being totally 'civilised' is overrated

I was at a "Grand Prix Memorial" event today and founds some Rudge owners that will help out with some parts (I've got more than on the picture obviously, but a lot is toast!)
Took 570 shots today so I'll have more stuff to share later

K-1 and DFA 100 macro
100 ISO, ƒ8, AV

All images shot at ƒ2.8, ƒ4 and ƒ2.8, only one ƒ2.8 image made the cut.

B W Bear saw so many mushrooms on his "looking for birds" walk he told his friend Moose about them. Moose is a big fan of mushrooms and decided to join him for an outing. These excursions are so much more fun when you have company.

And a bonus toad the size of the nail on your pinky, discovered while setting up for one of the images.

Clcik on any image to see the whole series.
