The undying adoration of the old Kerrowdown.., not something I guess you'd care for Norm.

An old song title comes to mind, given all that: “The Naughty Lady of Shady Lane”, which you could abbreviate to “Naughty Lady”, of course.
Had to Google that wee tune... it's even before even the Kerrowdown, original was 1954.

"Naughty Lady" added to the list, thanks.

I ws thinking of a Paul Butterfield lyric....

"Well she's long, and she's tall
And she's shady, like a little oak tree."

You don't want to get me started on that one.

When I was kid, Dwight Eisenhower ran for president against Adlai Stevenson for U.S. president. In those days, my parents were Stevenson supporters, but they really didn't care when Eisenhower won. In those days it didn't make much difference.

Eisenhower claimed Stevenson wasn't fit to be president because he'd read too many books. I'm surprised Trump didn't use that line on what's her name.

Are you ready to say "Uncle and plead with me to stop, or should I go on? Cause if i do go on you're going to be looking up pile of stuff on wikipedia.

Whipper snapper.

Well that was 1956 I believe, so how older kid were you then?... I see from your stats the birthday is 20th October, but the year seems to be missing.

You are aware all this was going on before I was born.

Quite happy to be so, if all you older people are irritable in the morning folk.

Lets just say I was born in the first half of the last century and leave it at that.

How coy... so by my reckoning, that means pre 1950.

So I'm pleased to be able to report the in Norm speak... I was in the second half of the last century, but not by much.
