Is this allowed? For some foto competitions it surely wouldn't be. I sometimes like to experiment. And one of those experiments is to simply invert the values (complement, a photo negative) of a capture within the RGB curve tab in Capture One by setting input 0 to output 255 and 255 to 0 (linear function) as a first step and then model the curve and other parameters to my liking.

Here are two results. First a color version, second a black & white version. Results can really be surprising. But have a look by yourself.

If I didn't know any better Frederic, I'd begin to think you liked that Tamron macro and that FA 35mm a lot... and so do I !
That first flower shot and the night shots you've been taking are stellar.
Eric
Thank you Eric !

Clearing Storm Saguaro Silhouette

Been a while since I posted here. Work and our brutal summers don't let me get out much then. Managed to get out early this morning while a rare storm was clearing and caught some good light behind my favorite Saguaro.

Very nicely done Greg. I'll be wanting to visit this location soon as a result of your shot.
