Nothing wrong with the fatigue test. They are building the fixture, and soon there will be the static test airplane there. The structure in the middle has been taking shape for several months, and was raised about halfway a couple weeks ago. I suspect that soon it will be raised fully, to the top of the towers on either side, and then the test plane will be moved into position and the stress testing will begin.

The 787 static test was in that same place until the testing ended on it last year.

I don't know what makes me feel older. The fact I turn 40 this year, or that my son Woody just turned 12...
Happy Birthday Woody xx

A very rushed portrait shot before dashing out, something to mark the occasion at least.

His choice of cake made by Mum, a Unikitty cake from Lego lol. Whatta kid!
This shot is comprised of 3 different shots of varying apertures taken with the Lensbaby Velvet 56. The eyes at f5.6, head at f2.8 and the rest at f2.

"Cringe"

More countryside pictures.

Hattifnatt, your countryside picture series are most enjoyable. The first photo in this post is a very peaceful & pretty scene, especially when viewed on flickr.
Best Regards, Bob

Not exactly my best work, but the first image from my new Pentax K-1.

When I checked the shutter count on my new K-1, it shows this image as the very first shutter actuation.

Odd, as I thought that all cameras go through a few shutter actuations as part of the quality check before packaging them for shipping tot he merchants.
Racer it is good to see you on this thread. Looking forward to seeing more shots with that new K-1.
Best Regards, Bob

Thank you Bob.

As soon as the rain lets up I'll be making some more exposures.
