I think I'm doing something wrong here. This photo on my computer is much nicer. I took it with a Vivitar 70-210 and It was VERY colorful OOC, but very flat and green here...
It initially had around +15 on the tint, which I dropped to around 8 I think.

I'd calibrate your monitor Snydly and use sRGB as the colour space - green colour cast there, especially with all that lawn around your labby.

Too busy to shoot lately....but I did manage a Mourning Dove this evening.

Bigma 50-500 1/160 handheld f6.3 ISO 4000 @ 500mm. I liked the bokeh.
These are good eating...but of course I would never eat one!

Regards!

Here's another taken with the FA77 - just magical on the k1. Sooooo sharp and contrasty, but soft and dreamy where it matters.

Yup.. The FA77 real works magic on K1.

Nice Shot..

One of my frustrations from the outset of switching from film to digital. No matter how you calibrate your monitor, a different monitor or any digital projector won't be calibrated identically so the colors will look different. At least with chromes, almost any Kodak projector and a decent clean (not yellowed) screen will provide near-identical rendering when projected. But, the **//^$&!** dust.

Those are wonderful shots!

Color and color cast.....I often manipulate the color but sometimes do corrections and get a nice result.

Here is the true color of the bird I posted earlier......This is the Jpeg. I seldom use the Jpegs, I shoot Raw+....but do have to say I find the Jpegs of the K1 to be very good.
