Helping Oot

A young lady who has just signed up with a model agency and working together with her today (just adding to help her pad up the portfolio). I have no doubts that she is destined for great things.

"Lady Luck” (Pentax-A* 135mm F1.8) shot wide open at F1.7

Is this also Pixel-Shifted, I wonder how much the lens can deliver at 28mm/F11 ?

We got about a foot of snow yesterday and my kids went out sledding and loved it (for you metric people we got about 35 cm of snow).

Took some photos with the DFA *70-200. It was actually hard because the snow was falling hard enough that the camera wanted to pull off onto the snow and not the kids.

No, that particular image is not pixel shifted. There was a bit of a breeze going on after the brief snow storm had passed through, so no pixel shift. I have taken pixel shift images the DFA 28-105 at 28mm and it performs quite well. As far as i can make out, the only K-mount lens I know of that can out perform the DFA 28-105 at around 28mm, f11 by anything more than a trivial margin is the FA 31.

Here's a pixel shifted image shot with the same lens @32mm:
