We took the grandkids to the Austin Aquarium and got to see lemurs up close from inside the enclosure.

*I don't know if you can see the spider legs just coming over the edge of the sundial, but his plans didn't survive the first minute of engagement.
Awesome timing; awesome photo. I take it that the tongue was too fast for you to get that shot... BTW, I am starting to hate that lens...
Best Regards, Bob

Looks like a winner
It even pre-dates colour//

Dave
Thanks for the hint, Dave
The colour was hidden deep inside the lens

That lens is remarkably sharp at a distance. Usually distance shots are the downfall of this type of lens.

Full Mongrel!

10% and whatta name, doesn't get more Aussie than that!

Red Pelt

I'm not brave enough to do a 10% and 7.8% in one sitting, so I will save this one for 2019

Both shot FA77.

Traditions

My kind of Hogmanay, a tasty stout and some home made mince pies.

Happy Hogmanay folks!

And that shot was cropped quite a bit too. Here it is without any work done. Just downsized and jpeg'd. @ 260mm.
