Near us there is an old trolley right-of-way that goes up over a smallish "mountain range" (not very high, but rugged enough to discourage building or clearing for agriculture). The tracks and ties are all gone, but the amount of fill moved to cross low spots and ease the grade its just astounding. Thousands of cubic yards/meters of material hauled and dumped into gullies, all for less than a century of use. Wish I could capture it in a picture, but with the dense forest overgrowth and lack of a spot to stand and see a major section of it, the only way to appreciate the labor expended is to walk it. Sections of it are easily seen in the pattern of contour lines on USGS quadrangles.

Yep. wrong settings. I was not noticing the settings

Yep...should have been 7.1 and 1/160 and they would have been much better.

Here's a few colorful shots with the D-FA 100mm (non-WR) from a walk around a park near me. I just love everything that comes out of this camera

I love this photo. Where was it taken?
That's one of the Twin Lakes seen from the Beartooth Highway. It was a spectacular day.

Apparently your K1 is housebroken then. I need a pooper scooper for about 90% of my images taken with my K1.

Lovely! Did you use PixelShift or HDR or is this just a good old fashioned really nice photo?

A single ETTR DNG taken with a Sigma 24-60 and stacked 2 + 3 stop (5 total) GND filters.

In Photoshop I did some minor dodging of the upper sky to counter the GND effect and adjusted midtones to bring out the canyon features a little more.

I have some photos I've had to work really hard on, but this one came out of the box pretty close to "keeper" status.

Squirrels are interested in that dish....what is it? Nice shooting!

Crop Mode shooting...as usual!

Squirrels are always interested in food....

They would eat every Jay on earth if they could catch them!
