Planned on going birding this morning, but it didn't work out. Quick diversion for dragonflies. I didn't have a macro lens with me but thought I'd manage with the DA300 and 1.4xTC, at minimum focus distance.. This worked well on the K-1. There was some vignetting, but I new I'd probably be cropping anyway. The only time I regretted not having a macro lens was when I managed to get a dragonfly on my finger.
