the fawn

A limb from a scotch pine is blocking parts of the doe, they were about 90 meters from me in a shady area. But the shots still came out fairly good. The mom was not very happy about me watching them so as soon as the youngster finished feeding they headed to the woods. I was happy to at least get to see them and get a couple of shots.

Best Regards, Bob

Same problem. I hope when they finish their work Flickr works speedier than it has for the last number of months or I will be looking for a different hosting site.
Do you have a site in mind ?

No. That is the problem. For me Flickr has been sooooooooo slow for a number of months now, and it is not good enough

I suppose I could always host my own !

I dunno, I'm inclined to give the new host a chance... I mean, they just spent all this time, money and effort to move everything to newer bigger better faster servers... Give them time to optimize and cache everything and then decide if they know what they are doing, if it's any faster, more reliable, and how good they are at stealing our stuff.

As they have made such a monumental train wreck out of this transition, they clearly do not know what they are doing. They should never have switched to the new site until they had checked it was working smoothly in parallel with the old one.

I host my own stuff, no problem.

oh well, more birds

Was fortunate to have good lighting for each of these shots. Male cardinal in the late evening; cedar waxwing and eastern bluebird mid day. For sure my next post will be a different subject...

Best Regards, Bob
