Sunrise with D FA 15-30

I am still playing with my new K-1 and D FA 15-30.
Can't believe how much I could pull from shadows here.. This morning was very windy and there was no place to safely set up a tripod, so I only took few shots handheld.

This little guy was collecting the sunflower seeds this morning that I spread across the lawn for the wildlife's benefit. Lens was Sigma EX APO 2.8/70-200mm.

Some might be inclined to think butterfly's wings flap rather stiffly, but I find the wing warping in this shot quite illuminating, and even though the shutter speed wasn't quite fast enough to freeze the BF, I think over-all the shot works because the flower is spot on... no? Comments welcome.

Tried the DA*11-18 with 82-86 step-up ring and 86mm PLC filter (4mm) attached to the K-1 in FF mode. Hood has to be detached. Only 18mm usable. At 16mm too much vignetting in the corners that can't be eliminated. Examples at 18mm and f/8 ...

You've captured a moment at a place that makes me wish I had been there.
