Hey mate, nice stuff as usual! It is your posts that convinced me to pull the trigger on the 35mm F2. Just got it yesterday, and so far very impressed. Pictures to come!
Thank you ! It's a fantastic little beast

A lot of preparation went into creating a watering hole and camera trap set up this spring hoping to capture the bobcat that I occasionally see around the property. Despite bobcat lure and catnip, I'm still a failure in that department. The number of mice, squirrels, lizards and birds visiting the hole however (I have a trail cam on it when I'm not present) has been impressive.

When at the property, I've been setting up wtih the K1 and Rokinon 24 mm with a trigger and two remote flash setup. Here's a shot of a mule deer (focus was at the water's edge) and a covey of quail. One of these nights, I still hope to get the bobcat.

I'm still noticing a significant change in the quality of the images I'm getting with my KI markII. While nothing has changed in my own technique (preset "Bright" in camera) or PP methods in LR CC Classic there is a definite change in the rendition from the sensor. Those images have to be looked at only in so far as the colour quality - never mind the photographer's input...! Image # 1 is a pano made with 4 shots with my Takumar bayonet 80-200mm fitted with a polariser, normal PP was made. That lens is not a know hero but I think that this rendition is quite remarkable. Image # 2 is a "blue hour" rendition of the Halifax waterfront made with 5 bracketed shots at 2EV spread using my DA*16-50mmf2.8.
The saying is that it's the photographer that make the shot but, don't forget that the sensor is there to show it...
