Love the B&W shot. The way the goose is highlighted by the bright pool counterbalances the rest of the image. Well done.

How would you wake up at 7 O'clock without it ?

The first thing I noticed Actually, the first thing I noticed was a lovely face with a beautiful smile, someone full of the joy of being young and healthy.

I'm one of the maybe 15% of "morning people," sometimes called "larks" as opposed to "owls." During the summer, it's almost impossible for me to stay in bed after 5AM. Winters I can sometimes stay asleep until 6 or even 6:30 if the previous day had an unusual amount of physical activity. The only time I need an alarm is if we need to get up at 4AM, for example to catch a plane, but even then, as often as not, I'll snap awake five minutes before the alarm goes off. M is an owl, as are most people, and cannot get to sleep before 11PM (23:00hr), which means I commonly get six hours or less of sleep. That catches up with me, and after a large lunch I sometimes nap for an hour or more, involuntarily.

... and now my yearly Motoball post.
Surprisingly "my" team (the blue ones) won against the favourites, arguably the best team in the northern division of the highest German league.

I was not able to travel so much lately so I'm suffering because no landscapes. Instead, I have been processing some leftovers from an older series at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. But finally, I have a trip planned for next week
