Old Sigma manual zoom

The 21-35 F/3.5-4.2 and a cat acting bored. AS I am poor at use of manual focus lenses, I figured I would try before heading out for the day.

I like the lens, but it does seem as though the colors are muted in comparison to Pentax lenses. I especially like that it seems to be FF capable.

Photos # 1 and # 2 could transport the viewer back to 50-75 years ago. All pix in this series are well done.

A vine maple hanging from the riverbank cliff below my house, showing its last gasp of fall color. Five images stitched and processed in Photoshop.

A few more shots from Letchworth State Park. The first one is the Mrs. taking a shot of some turkey vultures on the wing with her Sony bridge camera. Got it for her a few years ago. I cannot get her to use the viewfinder. It does jpeg only files, but the results are very nice. She likes it a lot. Next step is to teach her to use some post processing software. The brilliant red shrub is called burning bush for obvious reasons. Puts on quite a show in the fall.
Very good shooting to capture the beauty in those scenes. By the time I make it to Letchworth I suspect all the color will be gone, maybe I will wait until there is snow...
Best Regards, Bob

Amazing beauty so well captured. Difficult to find top notch landscape photographs with so much blue sky. Superb image.

Thank you Baronda, I really like the sky in Arizona / Utah, it is always very saturated blue and it seems that the clouds are floating so low that you can jump and touch them with your hand .

Beautiful shots!

(Can I mention that the last shot feels like the horizon is tipped a bit? I think I'm just too OCD about stuff like that)...

Amazing colors Vincent!

If you are a horizon OCD person, you would hate the horizon auto correct in Adobe ACR... double clicking the level almost never gets it right. And what do you do when your K-1 built in level indicator disagrees with what you see in the viewfinder? I've had that make me scratch my head a few times... usually it is when I am not totally parallel to the other shore line... and a receding shore to one side will make it look tilted in the direction the shore is further away on, heh.
