A few shots from my recent trip to Mungo National Park (in NSW Australia). Mungo is part of a ancient lake system... been dry for about 14,000 years.... but still .... Google Maps show it as a blue... because we are optimists down here.

Anyway.... it's a special place.... was popular during the last ice age.... This dry lake contains stone artefacts, burial sites, animal bones and ochre that date the Aboriginal occupation there to 40,000 years plus.....

Five weeks in Australia, running hither thither most of the time. but only scratched it. And haunted places such as you captured so well. Time and change, two things humans hopelessly strive to control.

KP, L-Bracket, small Ball Head and LED Light in use ...

Small angle scenery: L-Bracket slightly rotated. Small ball head on top with small LED Light attached.

The L-Bracket with small ball head and LED light as a small LED Light Stand.

L-Bracket attached closely to the KP, small ball head on top.

Images made with K-1 and DFA28-105.
Just for Fun.

A beautiful set of images, compositionally as well as being super sharp too.
Many thanks for your kind words!
Hard to get a shot wrong with a K1 and the FA77limited ... but I know how to do that also, trust me
