K20D batteries just don't cut the mustard in a K1... apparently, otherwise I'd have been good to go.

I yielded, so I did. K-1 plus grip. Should be here tomorrow or the next day from SRS.

Ouch that was a pile of cash!

FA*85 and FA 77 - literally 2 hours after the body arrived. Didn't have time to calibrate AF or anything!

Yeah, the 77 is a monster on the k-1. I'm a bit of a fan. I'll just pretend the FA* 85 doesn't exist for a few more months I think - spent too much already this year!

What you mean someones wired up my batteries wrong?

That bloody green battery charge lights still on, it's a bit like we say here... a watched kettle takes longer to boil.

You've yielded well. It's one of the most enjoyable toys I've ever wasted money on

The irony being ive got two fully charged spare batteries with me. Sadly I'm in Winchester, so I suspect they'll have charged by the time you've driven down here

Aye my iPhone says your 9 hours and 23 minutes away, some 587 miles.

Hopefully I'll have both mine fully charged by then.

Next step. Swap A7r + grip, A6000, FE35/1.4, 28/2, 55/1.8 and 70-200/4 G for . . . 15-30/2.8 and 70-200/2.8, might squeeze the 24-70/2.8 out of 'em too. The firm wants to buy all my Sony gear which is the best news I've heard all year! I shall soon be free of it!

Yeah, but if you leave now, you'd avoid rush hour traffic...

I draw the line at taking photos with Sony gear. It's been a hideous experience.
