Thanks, Aaron, I liked the setup for the pool table pictures you posted, you should revisit that because with that lighting and a relatively dark background, some dramatic photos are possible!
thanks appreciate that and valuable feedback !!

like all that you have to say in that post! good reference material and good food for thought!

Very nice colours and good framing.
Thanks. Not always easy to get good results out of a cheap lens, but it's sometimes possible.

Here's a shot of a rainbow out at Sharp Point, also shot with FA-J 75-300:

Spectacular capture! You've done an excellent job reproducing the rainbow, water, rocks and sky.
Thanks for sharing,

K-1 + SMC M 20/4 @ f/8 in hyper focal ...

Last Thursday there was a protest march in Poitiers against the reforms to the retirement reforms. The protest march passed in front of the courthouse and the attorneys in their trail robes were there to participate. Here are a few images that I took for an upcoming photo club exhibition this Spring. The theme is "view from the ground" or "view of the ground" ... it's a play on words.

Well last night into today we finally had one of those powder snowfalls. Perfectly still with large flakes. About 5 inches of snow on top of the 12 inches (300mm) we had over the last few days. Some rain after on of the snowfalls compressed the lower levels quite a bit. Went out to a local park to take a few shots. All with a K1-II with D FA 28-105 lens mounted.
