Testing out a second copy K 50/1.2 that I recently acquired at the Villandry Castle ... all wide open and playing about in an old version of Lr 3.6 on a newer computer and a new Asus monitor.

Went to shoot sunrise over the river the other morning and the clouds did not cooperate at all, so I headed to the beach to get a walk in, at least, and found my sky! 1/400 @ f5.6, ISO200 with my 28-105.

That's an image worthy of rising early. Dramatic.

I've really fallen behind in my posting.... the DFA 28-105 on the K-1 has been my most used combination, you'd never know it from my posts

Starting in August last year 2019-08-09
An evening in Callander, The sunset started with rainbow, and just got better from there...

Terrific captures. Snow didn't make these shots any easier. Grouse pictures are rare, nice to view something out of the ordinary. Glad you're back photographing and posting.
Thanks for sharing,
