Sure is a cutie! I'd trade two baby raccoons for one anytime!

What do they eat, where do they live? How big do they get? My raccoons love pizza...reckon they would love pizza too?

Regards!

Great shots you posted! Read my above post and tell me more about the panda?

The red bird is a male Cardinal...very magnificent when adults. In the high heat and humidity all the birds are opening their wings a little to cool down. Very common birds at my place, there is at least a dozen males that hang around my place for the plentiful feed.

In their normal posture....

Very nice shots. I think I like the first one better, as there is still some detail in the sky.
Thanks Rondec, same too I like blue hr shot of #1 but I like the red color Super Trees of #2, next time I must shoot the red color during blue hrs.

Fireworks shot just now with Sigma 10-20
This is my 1st time shooting from this location and I want to include the whole block of buildings but I do not know how high the fireworks? So the best bet is to shoot wider and crop later. I brought a few lenses with me but the best lens to use is the Sigma 10-20. I shot at FF mode and just nice after the crop I get rid of those vignettes as well.

Excellent Ken.....great perspective with the buildings and wonderful colors! The reflections also make it a great shot!

Regards

No fireworks here, we're just a couple of days off from the "Dog Days" of Summer...and the squirrels are practicing their favorite Dog Days pastime. They practice year around, and most are now considered experts!

Jpeg in Crop mode and cropped again in processing...

Zygonyx I would like to see your 20mm used with some composition adjustment/sensor shift to help keep the verticals parallel. Especially the first chapel facade where the chapel looks about to fall over, away from us.

Nagaben

K1+FA31ltd

Very lucky to chance upon this.

Its not everyday I can be in Bali and even less likely such that when I'm there that a royalty passes away and the Nagaben ceremony is held.
Its a costly event and often a few members of royalty are cremated in the ceremony to pool costs.
