Nice shot....such a cute little critter too!

Here is an old guy......FS, he would make gravy but it would be lumpy and tough!

Crop of a Crop Mode shot...Long live the Crop Mode!

A new camera and lens. What better place to test them out, other than the Flint Hills. The old Kickapoo School in Geary County made a perfect subject. Made with the new full frame Pentax K1 with a HD Pentax-D FA 28-105mm F3.5-5.6 ED DC WR.
Camera settings ISO 200 1/250th F 10.0 Focal length 40mm.

He' would resist FS, but he is old and you could probably do it anyhow. Tough as he'd be only the cats would be interested.

Hat pollution. Yellowstone's dark secret.

July 22, 2016 was a pretty windy day in Yellowstone National Park. The next day we were at Grand Prismatic Spring. In the same area is the crater of the blown out Excelsior Geyser. There were all sorts of hats that had blown off of people's heads along with three umbrellas in the hot spring itself. Park employees have special long retrieval tools for such events but had not yet gotten to this area to pick up the litter.
