Fantastic car! I had the '62 version of the same car, with the same 283 engine. Smashed that car into a brand-new '65 mustang when the driver ran a stop sign in the rain. Dented my left-front fender, but her car was, well, it was a good thing there was no one in the passenger side, 'cause that whole side of her car was about five inches thick after that.

It´s Helsinki-Malmi Airport in Finland.

I discovered it was built in 1880 as both a school and a church. It ceased being a school in the 1930's and the last service was held in 1959. Fabulous location being in the middle of a wood.

It's hard to understand how places like that become totally abandoned.

Bedham was only a tiny hamlet a few miles from a larger town Petworth. From the research i have done the main occupation at the time in the area was charcoal production. After the first world war, and with increasing industrialisation the jobs disappeared and so did the people. Today it is a collection of a few houses, that is all. Just the abandoned church as a reminder of slightly busier times.
