Our local PBS station is rerunning episodes of "Australia's First Four Billion Years". Flinder's Range is featured in it. It is a very good watch for those who are so inclined.

Looks like you are camping off the grid a bit. Solar, generator or both?
Lots of old rocks and early fossils to look at. I wired the van a while ago so all my 240v stuff works ..... about the cost of a second hand 645z (lithum battery, solar and inverter etc).... but.... I can use my toaster and expresso machine..... carry two weeks of water (wife makes me shower every day when using the van solo.... so I don't stink it up she reckons). Very cold at night this way at the moment.... but ducted gas heater for that... old man camping.

I got a new K-1 Mark ii yesterday so I took a trip downtown this morning to try it out. Here are some favorite shots. More available in the gallery when you click on a photo. All of these were with a Tamron 90mm f/2.8.

As to that first picture: what happens if one were to walk outside the yellow lines?

We have a military parade each year on 9th of May, I suppose these yellow lines are for tanks, rocket launchers and these kind of stuff

Thanks... no worries.... I just like wandering around doing it! 30 years ago if I'd jagged one shot in 200 like these I would have been extatic.... but the gear now makes it so much easier to get results.
