A quick FA77 bokeh shot from me:

And a quick set from yesterday's walk with the D-FA*50:

You can probably tell from these bokeh shots that I am just dying to get my hands on the D-FA*85!

Wow, is that how Flickr free are managing that aspect? I would have thought any new upload deletes the oldest image etc.

Perhaps make another new account? Make a new emails and just keep making new accounts, Flickr Free is now a Pro account, unlimited storage!

Excellent Eric.
Thanks Bruce!

From the jack of all trades lens... well cropped:

Pentax K-1 HD PENTAX-D FA 150-450mm F4.5-5.6ED DC AW ƒ/5.6 450.0 mm 1/500 iso100

Same pic, insanely cropped:
I agree. I actually like the lens better for close in work than for distance shots. Great for portraits too. Trooper and his magnificent mane.

The second image is luscious. It's marvelous how an English town can be so well and extensively built, with its local stream completely confined by stonework, brickwork and cement, and still look enchantingly bucolic as if it were free from all that troubles the world.

It’s a great composition there and its mercifully free of parked cars, road signs etc!

It’s a very interesting area because of its role in the industrial development of Manchester.

Of course, it’s not really a picture of a rural quiet hamlet, it’s near to busy roads and even the motorway thunders past nearby. But down by the canal and in the woods there are some smashing quiet spots away from it all.

Throwback Thursday - Winterfest 2019

This years Winterfest would likely have been on this coming weekend, alas Covid-19 has seen the death of that... there's always next year!
Here we see 'Djinndalah, Jungle Queen' looking ever so pleased to being photographed! Eek! Time to run!
